 A different way to spend your holidays in a picturesque Sicilian village lying between Mount Etna and the Ionian sea. Approval by Azienda Provinciale Soggiorno e Turismo Catania. The house is interestingly situated in the charming village of Trecastagni, which lays on the slopes of Mt. Etna at a height of 600 metres a.s.l. (above the sea level). The house, which can accommodate up to 15 guests, is situated in the charming village of Trecastagni, which lays on the slopes of Mt. Etna at a height of 600 meters a.s.l. (above sea level). It has 5 triple rooms double bed and spare bed, which are provided with air conditioning, central heating, tv, with a large balcony. Each private bathroom has a shower or a bathtub. Breakfast is served in a comfortable kitchen and includes tea, coffee, milk, yoghurt, cereals, ham, and some typical Sicilian food like home made jam, cheese, bread. In summer breakfast is served under a beautiful patio next to the garden and the vineyard, where you can have a special view of Mt. Etna. Guests are allowed to stay under the patio, in the garden or visit the vineyard, with many trees, of olive-oil, lemon, orange etc... The reception is well equipped with brochures, leaflets and maps. Pets are welcome. It is situated in a strategic crossing point, because in a few minutes you can reach both the Etna mountain and the seaside, let alone the most famous tourist resorts in eastern Sicily. It is also possible to visit mount Etna and its surrounding park and to follow the different naturalistic, volcanic and religious routes, according to one's own tastes.

We made the House Etnea after decades of experiences of visits in the near and distant lands, crowning of which we decided to build -together companions of many adventures - a special place to accommodate other travelers like us. We thought we would share our love for the land of Sicily with guests who want to stay in Etna House in Monte Ilice, to them we put the knowledge gained in many years of trekking and excursions on our volcano in all seasons. But above all, we try to convey the passion for an extraordinary world and how exciting is Etna and the areas surrounding it.
In addition we are also able to accommodate small groups of visitors in our Palmento Blackcap to accompany them to discover the traditions and beauty of Europe's highest active volcano.

The b & b Casa di Antonio, is located at the Ascent of Saponari, located in Trecastagni.
In the countryside, leaving behind the stress and the chaotic city pace, enjoying spectacular views of both the sea and Mount Etna.
The structure consists of 5 independent rooms all with private bathroom for a total of 10 beds. All our rooms are equipped with TV, air conditioning, Twin beds that become double if necessary, WI-FI, tables, cabinet or drawer unit, Hang clothes, table and chairs.
The whole house is surrounded by terraces, lawn, the lawn I created a relaxation area with lava stone table, umbrella and chairs, where the evening you can be caressed by the cool of the hill, while enjoying a great pizza.
Then there is the Patio area, rustic property with inside the barbecue, where you can (on request) prepare succulent typical Sicilian dishes.
Breakfast is possible to do both in the rustic brick kitchen on the ground floor of the house, or in the Patio.
